I used to scrounge up whatever I could from my measly allowance so I could develop countless rolls of film. Fast forward to my teenage years and I received my first digital camera and I was hooked. I spent hours photographing myself and my friends for our MySpace profiles. Despite my clear passion for photography, I never considered it as a career option. Coming from a cultural and working class family background, making  money as an artists seemed like a far-fetched and impossible dream.

It wasn't until my son was born in 2009 that I decided life is too short to not do the things you love. Now, over a decade later, I see the career that I have made and I am so grateful. Photographing people has always been so special to me and I am so happy that I get to do this for a living!
