This wedding at The York Manor in Highland Park definitely holds a special place in my heart. Kim and Rich had such a unique vision for their day. As soon as I met them, I knew that they were my dream clients. The York Manor is such a great venue! Not only is it incredibly photogenic, but it’s also oozing with personality. It’s tailor made for couples who are looking for a unique venue in Los Angeles that has plenty of space and a surprising amount of privacy. Especially considering that this venue is at the heart of Highland Park!

While most couples choose to stay at the venue for their golden hour portraits, these two had a different idea in mind. Rather than stick to tradition, instead we took a walk all along York and visited some of their favorite bars and cafes. It was such a blast seeing strangers’ reactions as we walked into bars. If there is one thing I always recommend to my clients, it’s to stay true to yourselves. Even if you stray from tradition.
